Quality Replica Omega Seamaster 200 Review

The Seamaster 200 was launched in 1988. Like many other Omega lines, the Seamaster 200 had to do with an event that promoted its deep-sea places. The Seamaster Professional 200 meters caliber 1111 joined the IFREMER Far commission during which the experimental submersible Nautilus dived 4,400 meters under sea surface in the mid-Atlantic to install the first link of a channel to track sea current.

The Seamaster 200 was never acknowledged in its time and by contrast earned its nickname Pre-Bond as a result of the model that followed it. From the Omega vintage database, it seems that it was started in 1987/88 and ran through 1995.

Movements

At the moment of the replica SEAMASTER 200 presentation, Omega has got rid of in-house movements and used ETA movements. The SEAMASTER 200 offered both quartz and automatic movements. According to accounts, the automatic version was produced in much smaller numbers compared to the quartz versions making it rather limited. I believe however that the Omega 1441 High-end quartz movement was the rarest.

Automatic

The automatics shipped the Omega 1111 (ETA 2892-2) movement and identified with AUTOMATIC Chronometer. This 21 jewel movement features date setting, sweep second hand and 44-hour power reserve.

Quartz

The quartz variant came with the Omega 1441 movement in late 1987 and in 1988 and was implemented with the Omega 1438 movement.
1441 is easily distinguished from the new 1438 by the two silver crystal complements on 1441 compared to the single crystal unit on 1438.

Quote from 1441 manual

Omega watch comes with a thermo-compensated quartz movement: temperature variations which could surely influence the movement’s accuracy are automatically adjusted and remunerated by a quartz regulator with a repetition of 262.144 Hz. This promises a time precision of +/- 10 seconds per year. As a result, your Omega watch is much more reliable than a common quartz watch.

The size can be concluded by identifying the movement and then check the connection between the date view and the hash marks. On the Quartz full-size there is a break between the date window and the hash marks. For the auto, the full-size date window touches the hash marks, while the mid-size window eliminates the hash marks.

Case backs

Over the direction of the Omega SEAMASTER 200 line, the case back experienced a few modifications. In fact, the initial case back style looks so distinct from what we are applied to that over the years many collectors have kept away from buying the model for fear of it being counterfeit.

That completes the review of the Omega Seamaster 200 Pre-Bond line. You have seen all the disparate parts that make up the various stories. But we all understand that a watch is not merely the combination of its components.

Summary

After all, I tried to make this review as comprehensive as possible. Any imperfections or errors are purely my mistakes. Thank you to all who reply to my authority. Since I only own one piece of this Omega model , this review would not have been near as educational without all your assistance. I would like say again: Thank you very much.
